    Tiers simplify the board, but the pick still depends on timing, roster construction, and what the rest of the room may do.

    Compare positions. A tier with one remaining player demands more attention than a tier with six similar options.

    Measure the gap to the next tier. A label matters less than the projected points and VOR you give up by waiting.

    Estimate draft-room timing

    Use ADP and pick odds to judge whether the final player in a tier is likely to survive until your next selection.

    Respect roster needs

    Do not chase every tier break. Starter requirements, Flex spots, and the shape of your current roster still matter.

    Within the same tier, compare floor, ceiling, injury and role risk, bye weeks, and team context.
