Season Preview

The Packers enter 2026 with a fantasy profile built around volume, not pure explosiveness, and that makes Jordan Love a solid QB2 with weekly streaming upside rather than an automatic top-tier starter. Green Bay’s offense is expected to lean on Love’s efficiency, while recent roster movement suggests the team wants a clearer passing identity after a busy offseason that included key contract extensions and several depth-chart tweaks.

Josh Jacobs is still the safest Green Bay fantasy anchor, especially in formats that reward touchdowns, but his value depends on how often the Packers stay near the goal line. Behind him, MarShawn Lloyd is the swing piece: if he stays healthy after dealing with hamstring issues earlier this year, he has the talent to matter as a flex or stash, while Chris Brooks looks more like insurance than a likely weekly starter.

At receiver, Christian Watson is the most interesting ceiling play after his recent contract extension, and the current depth chart still points to him being a featured option if he’s active and explosive. Jayden Reed remains a useful PPR piece because of his role and versatility, while rookies and younger options like Matthew Golden and Savion Williams add upside but also more volatility, especially with the Packers having moved on from some veteran wideout depth.

Tight end Tucker Kraft is one of the better fantasy bets on this roster because he offers a strong combination of target share and scoring upside, making him a viable starting tight end in most leagues. Overall, Green Bay looks like a team with several draftable fantasy pieces but few truly elite locks, so the best strategy is to target Jacobs, Kraft, and one of the top receivers, then treat the rest of the offense as upside-based depth rather than weekly must-start production.
