Amon-Ra St. Brown
Detroit Lions
Season Preview
Amon-Ra St. Brown remains one of the safest and most valuable picks in 2026 fantasy football, and his profile still screams elite PPR reliability. He has finished as the fantasy WR3 in each of the past three seasons, while posting at least 115 catches, 1,250 receiving yards, and double-digit touchdowns every year in that span.
The biggest reason to keep him near the top of your board is volume. In 2025, St. Brown finished with 117 receptions for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns on 172 targets, and he led Detroit with a 31.3% target share. FantasyPros also noted that he led the NFL in red-zone targets and projected another top-5 fantasy finish in 2026, which is a strong sign that his role remains secure even with Detroit moving to a new offensive coordinator.
The coaching change is the main variable to monitor, but the early outlook is still positive. Multiple 2026 previews point to Drew Petzing taking over the offense, and the expectation is that St. Brown will continue to be the focal point because of his chemistry with Jared Goff and his proven ability to convert targets into weekly fantasy points. The recent previews also describe him as a likely early first-round pick, with current ADP sitting around the back end of Round 1 in many drafts.
There are no recent injury, trade, cut, or new-team concerns affecting his 2026 outlook, which matters because stability is a huge part of his appeal. He is entering his age-27 season and remains squarely in his prime, so the safest expectation is another high-floor, high-volume WR1 season with top-5 upside if Detroit’s offense stays efficient. If you want a receiver who can anchor a fantasy lineup every week, St. Brown is still one of the cleanest bets in the game.
