Brandon Aubrey enters the 2026 fantasy football season as the clear top kicker target and one of the safest weekly options at the position. He finished 2025 as the No. 3 fantasy kicker overall, and his three-year NFL resume has been elite from a fantasy standpoint, with first-, first-, and third-place finishes in fantasy points among kickers.

The biggest reason for optimism is that he remains in Dallas, and the Cowboys’ offense is projected to be strong again in 2026, which should keep Aubrey busy with both field goals and extra points. He also gets a built-in boost from playing half his games in a dome, and that indoor volume makes him even more attractive in standard and deeper fantasy formats.

There is good recent news on the contract front, too: Aubrey agreed to a four-year, $28 million extension with $20 million guaranteed, and reports noted that Dallas had been working to make him the highest-paid kicker in the league. That kind of commitment strongly reinforces his job security and shows the Cowboys view him as a long-term part of the roster.

From a fantasy drafting standpoint, Aubrey should be one of the first kickers selected this fall if you wait on the position. He was excellent again in 2025, making 36 of 42 field goals and 47 of 48 extra points, and even though he was less dominant from long range than in his earlier seasons, his overall volume and team context still make him an elite option with top-five upside every week.
