The most important takeaway is that there was no trade or cut to reset his value; instead, the Jets committed to him as their lead back, which keeps him in the fantasy RB2-to-low-end-RB1 conversation.

The concern is that Hall’s 2025 production was good but not elite for fantasy managers, since he finished with a career-worst 13.1 PPR points per game despite topping 1,000 rushing yards and adding 36 catches. Recent analysis also points to lower receiving usage, touchdown inconsistency, and a more crowded backfield, with Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis expected to take enough work to cap Hall’s weekly ceiling. That makes him more of a steady volume play than a true difference-maker at his current cost.

There are still reasons to feel good about his floor. Hall’s underlying talent remains strong, and he still has the burst, tackle-breaking ability, and workload profile to post a useful fantasy season if the Jets can sustain drives and create more red-zone chances.

For 2026 drafts, the safest read is that Hall is a solid but imperfect target who fits best as a strong RB2 with RB1 upside if the Jets offense takes a step forward. CBS Sports suggests Round 4 is the right neighborhood, with Round 3 only becoming reasonable if the offensive environment improves more than expected. If you want a player with a clear path to volume, Hall has that; if you want a player who can win your league by himself, the current setup makes that harder to bank on.
