Brian Robinson enters 2026 as an Atlanta Falcon after signing a one-year, $2.5 million deal, and that move makes his fantasy role much clearer: he is the backup to Bijan Robinson and one of the better handcuffs in the league. FantasyPros notes that Atlanta views him as the No. 2 back behind Bijan, while CBS Sports also frames him as a late-round reserve whose main path to value is an injury to the starter.

The appeal is straightforward. If Bijan Robinson were to miss time, Brian would likely inherit a heavy workload and immediate top-24 upside, because Atlanta does not have another proven back with the same profile behind him. CBS Sports similarly says Brian can help fantasy managers mainly if Bijan is unavailable, and otherwise he should remain a reserve pick rather than a weekly starter.

His 2025 production with San Francisco was modest, with 92 carries for 400 yards, two rushing touchdowns, and eight catches for 25 yards on 12 targets, so there is not much standalone evidence that he will carve out a large receiving role on his own in Atlanta. That said, his earlier seasons showed more usable fantasy production when he had a larger role, as CBS Sports notes he averaged 13.2 PPR points per game in 2023 and 11.4 in 2024, which supports the idea that volume is the key driver of his value.

For 2026 drafts, Brian Robinson is best treated as a late-round handcuff with upside rather than a flex option you plan to start often. If you roster Bijan Robinson, he is a smart insurance pick; if you do not, he is usually only worth considering in deeper leagues or very large benches because his weekly value depends heavily on a change in front of him.
