Calvin Ridley enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a bounce-back candidate with real upside, but he comes with some built-in risk. The biggest update is that he is staying with the Titans after restructuring his contract, which keeps him paired with the team for another season instead of sending him into a new situation.

The main reason fantasy managers should still care is his proven ceiling. Ridley posted 64 catches for 1,017 yards and four touchdowns in his first year in Tennessee in 2024, and before last season he had topped 1,000 receiving yards in three of four years. That said, his 2025 season was derailed by a fractured left fibula, and he played only seven games, finishing with 36 catches for 303 yards and no touchdowns.

For 2026, the outlook is mixed. One recent fantasy breakdown described Tennessee’s passing game as potentially featuring a “1A/1B duo” with Ridley and Wan’Dale Robinson, which suggests Ridley may not have the kind of monopolized target share fantasy managers love in a true alpha role. Another fantasy analysis went further and warned that Ridley could be one of the biggest losers from the offseason changes, arguing that his role may be minimized and that the Titans’ addition of Robinson could siphon away short-area volume.

Still, Ridley is the kind of player who can outproduce his draft cost if he stays healthy. Recent fantasy projections from FantasyPros peg him around 48.6 catches, 784.5 yards, and 2.9 touchdowns, which is more in the WR4 range than the weekly difference-maker range. My read is that he is best treated as a volatile mid-round pick: the talent is still there, the team is keeping him, and there is a path to a strong season, but the injury history and the likely target split make him more of a calculated upside play than a safe anchor.
