Emanuel Wilson enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a low-cost running back with a path to early-season value, especially in deeper leagues. CBS Sports’ 2026 Seattle preview expects him to sit second on the depth chart behind Kenneth Price, and notes that early reports suggest Price could be brought along slowly, which gives Wilson a chance to help fantasy managers out of the gate.

Wilson’s appeal is mostly tied to opportunity rather than elite talent, but he has shown he can produce when given touches. In 2025, CBS says he had six games with at least 10 total touches and scored at least 11.1 PPR points in four of them, averaging 12.9 PPR points over that stretch, which is strong flex-level production when he gets meaningful work.

The main risk is role volatility once Seattle’s backfield gets healthier and more settled. CBS specifically says Wilson is expected to be useful early, but that his value could drop later in the season once Charbonnet is healthy, while FantasyPros still lists him as a low-rostered option on a one-year deal with Seattle, reinforcing that he is not locked into a featured workload.

For fantasy drafters, Wilson is best viewed as a late-round pick, bench stash, or contingency play rather than a player you need to force into lineups every week. He makes sense if you want cheap exposure to a backfield that could open with usable touches, but his weekly floor depends heavily on injuries and coaching decisions, so he is more of a situational RB4/FLEX than a stable starter.
