After a strong 2025 in which he finished as a top-10 fantasy tight end, he has built clear chemistry with Drake Maye and remains one of the steadier target earners on the roster, which is why multiple recent fantasy sources still view him as a solid value even with his TE19-style market price in early drafts.

The biggest reason to like Henry is role stability: he is still projected to open the season atop the Patriots’ tight end depth chart, and recent projections from fantasy outlets point to another useful stat line in the neighborhood of 60 catches, 650-plus yards, and around 6 touchdowns. That kind of production is not flashy, but it plays well in fantasy, especially in leagues that reward tight ends who can find the end zone and be trusted for 4-6 targets most weeks.

There are a few warning signs to keep in mind. Henry is entering his age-32 season and the final year of his current contract, so his longer-term outlook in New England is less secure than his short-term fantasy outlook. The Patriots also used a third-round pick on tight end Eli Raridon in the 2026 NFL Draft, which adds at least some future competition for snaps and targets, even if Henry remains the clear starter right now.

For fantasy managers, Henry looks like a safe TE2 with low-end TE1 upside, especially if you miss out on the top tier at the position. He is not the kind of tight end to build a draft around, but he is exactly the sort of veteran who can stabilize a roster and outperform a modest draft cost if New England’s offense continues to lean on him in the red zone.
