Jalen Nailor
Las Vegas Raiders
Season Preview
Jalen Nailor enters the 2026 fantasy season with a very different profile after signing a three-year, $35 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he is expected to start and play a more featured role. Multiple recent fantasy outlets describe him as a potential big-usage receiver in Las Vegas after years as Minnesota’s No. 3 option, and one projection model has him in the WR4/flex range for redraft leagues.
The appeal is pretty straightforward: opportunity. The Raiders did not make a major draft addition at receiver, and Nailor is expected to compete for one of the top target shares alongside Tre Tucker and rookie Jack Bech, while Brock Bowers is still projected to lead the team in targets overall. That gives Nailor a real path to his best volume since entering the league, and it also matters that he is reunited with Kirk Cousins to open the year, which should help with timing and familiarity.
The risk is just as clear. Nailor has never been a proven fantasy starter, and his production in Minnesota was modest even when he stayed on the field, with his best season coming in 2024 and a relatively low weekly floor. Fantasy analysts remain split between optimism about the role and caution about the talent ceiling, with one source calling him a late-round flier and another noting that he is only marginally ahead of Tucker and Bech in the pecking order.
For 2026 fantasy drafts, Nailor looks like a strong late-round target rather than a player to build around. He makes sense in builds that want upside and can absorb some volatility, especially in PPR or best-ball formats, because the Raiders’ receiver room is open enough for him to finish as a useful weekly WR3/WR4 if the role sticks. If you want safety, there are cleaner options; if you want a possible breakout tied to a clear change in situation, Nailor is one of the more interesting mid-to-late-round names on the board.
