He signed a one-year deal with the Vikings in May, and recent reports say he’s been on the field in preseason while working behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison in the passing pecking order.

The biggest question for fantasy managers is volume. Early August buzz has been mixed: one preseason report said Jennings logged just four snaps in an exhibition game, while another noted he was among the Vikings receivers who may be losing first-team snaps to rookie Tai Felton. That makes his weekly floor more fragile than his name recognition might suggest, especially if Minnesota spreads targets around more than expected.

Still, Jennings has a path to value because he brings toughness, versatility, and red-zone usefulness. He has already shown he can produce when heavily involved, and fantasy outlets continue to slot him as a mid-round receiver with projections ranging from modest WR4 territory to a usable flex-level season. If he settles into the clear third option in a strong passing offense, he can beat his draft cost.

The risk is that the target share may not be stable enough for every-week confidence, especially if preseason usage is any indication. Jennings is best treated as a player who can give spike weeks rather than a volume monster, so he makes sense as a bench receiver with upside in PPR and best-ball formats.
