Jerry Jeudy enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a classic buy-low or avoid-depending-on-roster-construction receiver. The ceiling is still real because he remains with Cleveland and is still in line to be one of the team’s primary targets, but recent evaluations are split between rebound optimism and concerns about his efficiency, drops, and crowded target tree.

The strongest case for Jeudy is volume and role stability. He is under contract with the Browns, and recent analysis notes that Cleveland is unlikely to move on from him before next season because of his contract structure. At the same time, the Browns added more pass-catching competition in the draft, and multiple 2026 previews point out that Jeudy is no longer being treated like an unquestioned alpha in the passing game.

The biggest fantasy worry is that his 2025 production fell off sharply from his 2024 breakout. One source says he led the league in drops, posted a 47.2% catch rate on 106 targets, and finished with only 6.4 PPR points per game, while another notes a league-worst 47.6% reception rate and a disappointing stat line across 13 games. That kind of inefficiency makes him much riskier in 2026 than his name value alone suggests, especially if Cleveland’s quarterback situation and offensive structure remain unstable.

For fantasy drafters, Jeudy looks like a late-round depth option rather than a locked-in weekly starter. The more optimistic projections still see something like 60 catches and 750 yards with modest touchdown upside, while harsher forecasts keep him outside the top-36 wide receivers overall. In practical terms, he makes sense as a bench receiver who could outperform his draft cost if Cleveland’s offense steadies, but he is not a player I would want to rely on as a core WR2 in 2026.
