He remained with the Minnesota Vikings, and recent offseason analysis points to him as the team’s WR2 behind Justin Jefferson, with a fantasy outlook tied closely to improved quarterback play after a disappointing 2025 environment.

His 2025 numbers were a step back: he finished with 610 yards and 3 touchdowns in 15 games, and one recent fantasy breakdown noted that his season was heavily affected by poor quarterback play and an early-season suspension. That context matters, because Addison had already shown more in his first two NFL seasons, when he finished as a top-24 fantasy receiver each year and established himself as a legitimate red-zone threat.

For 2026, the main question is volume versus efficiency. Addison is unlikely to overtake Jefferson as the focal point of the passing game, but Minnesota’s offense still gives him a real chance to produce as a weekly WR3 with upside if the quarterback situation stabilizes and the team scores more efficiently near the goal line. The addition of Jauan Jennings does not appear to threaten Addison’s role, since Jennings is expected to fill the targets left by Jalen Nailor rather than compete directly with Addison’s usage.

Fantasy managers should view Addison as a player whose value can swing quickly based on quarterback play, but whose underlying talent and age still make him a strong target in the middle rounds.
