For fantasy managers, Mason is best viewed as a strong mid-round target with RB2 upside if the workload is as projected, and his value rises even more if Minnesota doesn’t add meaningful competition or if an older, injury-prone Jones misses time elsewhere and Mason’s touch share consolidates further. In practical terms, he profiles as a solid weekly flex with the potential to become a low-end RB2 on volume, and a very useful player to draft if you want a runner tied to a likely touchdown-heavy role in an offense that appears ready to feature him.
