The biggest reason to like Pittman is volume. Multiple previews point to him as the kind of receiver who can soak up a steady share of underneath and intermediate targets, especially if Pittsburgh leans into quick-game passing. That role fits Pittman well because he has been a reliable possession receiver for years, and one analysis notes he has beaten a 60/700/6 type fantasy line in five straight seasons. If he becomes Aaron Rodgers’ preferred chain-mover, Pittman could easily outproduce his current ADP and finish as a strong WR3 with weekly WR2 stretches.

The main concern is quarterback play. Pittman’s outlook improves significantly if Rodgers returns and stays healthy, but the Steelers’ passing-game ceiling is less certain without a stable veteran under center. That said, Pittman has already shown he can produce in a more limited, efficient role, and one projection set has him around 82 catches, 772 yards, and nearly five touchdowns in 2026. That kind of line won’t win leagues by itself, but it would comfortably justify his current draft cost and make him a useful PPR starter.

For fantasy managers, Pittman looks like a safe, sensible target rather than a pure upside swing.
