Puka Nacua
Los Angeles Rams
Season Preview
Puka Nacua enters the 2026 fantasy football season as one of the safest and best wide receiver picks on the board. After finishing 2025 as the overall WR1 and averaging more than 107 receiving yards per game, he has a strong case to be the first wide receiver drafted in many leagues again this summer.
The biggest reason to feel good about Nacua is his role. He is still the clear focal point of the Rams’ passing game, and recent fantasy analysis says he “will be locked in as the first wide receiver off the board” because of his elite volume and production. ESPN also projected that he could make “another run at 2,000 receiving yards,” noting that he averaged 107 yards per game last season and missed just one game.
There are a few things fantasy managers should watch, though. Nacua is still with the Rams, and recent reports say he was on the field at OTAs and appears fully engaged this offseason, so there is no major current injury or team-change concern affecting his outlook. The main risk is quarterback stability, because some analysts have pointed to Matthew Stafford’s health and future as the one factor that could change the ceiling of the passing attack.
Overall, Nacua should be treated as a high-end WR1 and a very reasonable first-round pick in 2026 fantasy drafts. His combination of target volume, weekly consistency, and elite yardage upside gives him one of the highest floors in fantasy, while his ability to push for another historic receiving season keeps the ceiling just as exciting.
