RB

Quinshon Judkins

Cleveland Browns

Season Preview

Quinshon Judkins enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a player with clear upside, but also some real uncertainty that drafters need to weigh carefully. The best recent outlooks point to him as a possible RB2 with breakout potential if Cleveland’s offense improves and his role grows, especially after a rookie year in which he showed usable volume and flashed enough as a receiver to matter in PPR formats.

The biggest storyline is health. His rookie season ended early after he missed time with an ankle issue, and one recent evaluation also notes that he broke his leg and dislocated his ankle in Week 16, which makes his recovery status an important part of his 2026 outlook. On the positive side, Footballguys reported that Judkins was on the field for Cleveland’s first round of voluntary workouts, which suggests he is at least participating and trending in the right direction physically.

From a football fit standpoint, the case for Judkins is strong. Cleveland is expected to be more functional offensively in 2026, the Browns reshaped the offensive line, and multiple sources project a larger workload for him after he handled only part of the backfield rotation as a rookie. Fantasy Life also noted that his role was limited in late-game and passing-down situations last season, but even modest growth there could make him more valuable, especially if the new schedule and better team context lead to more scoring chances.

For fantasy managers, Judkins looks like a classic mid-round target with league-winning upside if everything breaks right. Current early draft chatter has him going around RB24 with a fifth-round price tag, and that cost reflects both the breakout appeal and the risk tied to his recovery and the Browns’ ongoing uncertainty at quarterback. If you want a running back who could return RB2 value with a path to 1,200 total yards and around 10 touchdowns, Judkins is firmly in that conversation, but he is not the kind of pick you want to make if you need maximum certainty.
