Ryan Flournoy enters the 2026 fantasy football season as a deep-league sleeper whose value is still tied to opportunity in the Cowboys passing game. FantasyPros projects him for 34 catches, 384.6 receiving yards, and 2.7 touchdowns, which points to a useful but modest role rather than a locked-in starter profile.

The appeal is that Flournoy showed he can produce when Dallas leans on him. In the 2025 season finale against the Giants, he caught 5 of 7 targets for 68 yards, and FantasyPros notes that he finished the season with 40 receptions and 475 yards over 16 games. He also flashed a higher ceiling in bigger spots: DraftSharks noted a 13-target, 7-catch, 110-yard, 1-touchdown performance against Detroit when CeeDee Lamb was out, which is the kind of usage spike that makes him interesting in fantasy.

His outlook for 2026 depends heavily on the health and role of the Cowboys’ top receivers. NBC analysts specifically said Flournoy’s fantasy value is “entirely tied” to CeeDee Lamb’s availability, and DraftSharks pointed out that Flournoy’s best games came when Lamb was sidelined, while his production was much quieter in other games without Lamb. That means Flournoy is more of a contingency play than a weekly bet, especially if Dallas is at full strength at wide receiver.

For fantasy managers, Flournoy is best viewed as a late-round dart throw in deeper leagues or a bench stash in formats that reward volume and patience. The upside case is simple: if injuries open targets in Dallas again, he has already shown he can turn extra looks into usable fantasy weeks. The safer expectation, though, is a rotational receiver who can help in a pinch but is not yet someone you should count on every week.
