Tee Higgins enters the 2026 fantasy football season as one of the best value picks in the WR2 range, with a profile that combines strong weekly ceiling and real draft-day risk. Recent fantasy sources have him going around WR14-WR15 in consensus formats, which reflects both his established production and the discount created by missed games in recent seasons.

The biggest reason to like Higgins is simple: when he and Joe Burrow are healthy, Cincinnati has shown it can support elite passing production. FantasyData notes that Higgins and Burrow are both healthy heading into 2026, and that Higgins has top-12 receiver upside because the Bengals’ offense can feed multiple fantasy starters. His 2025 production also reinforced the upside, as he finished as the WR15 in PPR with 59 catches, 846 yards, and a career-high 11 touchdowns.

The concern is durability, and that has to be baked into his price. Higgins has missed 12 games over the last three seasons and battled concussion issues in 2025, which is why analysts continue to label him a boom-or-bust fantasy asset rather than a safe weekly anchor. Even so, his floor is stronger than many volatile receivers because he has scored at least five touchdowns in each of his six NFL seasons, and recent reports suggest he is healthy enough to enter the year without a major red-flag injury designation.

For 2026 drafts, Higgins makes the most sense as a strong WR2 with real WR1 upside if you build around his volatility correctly. A reasonable projection from recent analysis is roughly 70 catches, 1,000 yards, and 10 touchdowns, which would easily pay off his current draft cost. If you want a receiver who can swing matchups when Cincinnati is clicking, Higgins is an excellent target; if you want week-to-week certainty, he is still more of a calculated bet than a bankable foundation.
