Tony Pollard enters 2026 as the clear lead back for Tennessee, and that role gives him a sturdy fantasy floor even if the offense is only average. Recent evaluations describe him as the Titans’ top back, with one outlet projecting him as a strong RB2 and another placing him in the RB3-to-RB2 draft range because of his workload and receiving ability.

The biggest reason for optimism is volume. Pollard handled 275 touches and produced 1,288 scrimmage yards with five touchdowns in 2025, and he has now logged four straight seasons with at least 16 games played and 1,000 rushing yards. He also remained efficient on a per-touch basis last year, ranking well in explosive run rate and yards after contact per attempt, which suggests he still has enough juice to capitalize if Tennessee’s offense improves.

The main concern is that his touchdown ceiling may be capped again if the Titans’ offense stalls. Pollard scored only five times in 2025, and his fantasy output was dragged down by a poor team environment that limited red-zone chances; one report noted Tennessee ranked near the bottom of the league in scoring and red-zone attempts. Tyjae Spears also matters here, because he has been the more significant receiving back when both players are healthy, which can trim Pollard’s weekly catch total and overall ceiling.

There are reasons to believe 2026 could be better. Brian Daboll is now Tennessee’s offensive coordinator, and his track record suggests a preference for leaning on one primary back. The Titans also added help around the offense, including receiver Carnell Tate and Wan’Dale Robinson, and improved play from Cameron Ward would raise the scoring environment; even with rookie Nicholas Singleton added, recent draft analysis still views Pollard as a borderline No. 2 fantasy running back. In drafts, he profiles as a dependable target who may not be flashy, but can absolutely return RB2 value if the workload stays intact.
