Tucker Kraft
Green Bay Packers
Season Preview
Tucker Kraft enters the 2026 fantasy football season as one of the most interesting tight ends in the game because his ceiling is still obvious, but his health will determine whether he opens the year as a true difference-maker. He tore his ACL and suffered a small meniscus tear in 2025, but multiple recent reports say he has been ahead of schedule in recovery and is expected to be ready for Week 1 if he avoids setbacks in training camp.
Before the injury, Kraft was playing like a star. He was TE2 in fantasy scoring when he went down, and he was on pace for a massive season after posting 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games; FantasyPros notes that he had already averaged 14.7 fantasy points per game and led all tight ends in yards after the catch per reception.
The surrounding offense also helps his case. FantasyPros notes that the Packers moved on from Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks and did not add any major new pass-catchers, which leaves Kraft in a strong role in a passing game that should still funnel opportunities his way. That combination of target volume, after-the-catch ability, and red-zone usage gives him real TE1 upside if the knee responds well through summer.
For fantasy drafts, Kraft is the type of tight end you want to target aggressively if reports remain positive in training camp. The safest read is that he profiles as a high-end TE1 with top-five upside, but the injury means he comes with a little more risk than the very top options at the position. If you are willing to bet on the talent, this is exactly the kind of player who can swing a fantasy roster at a reasonable cost.
