Tyler Warren enters the 2026 fantasy football season as one of the safest and most interesting tight end targets after a standout rookie year with the Colts. In 2025, he led all first-year players with 76 receptions, finished as a TE5 in fantasy, and showed a high-end weekly ceiling when Indianapolis’ passing game was functioning normally.

The main reason to like Warren is the likely target concentration in Indianapolis. Michael Pittman Jr. was traded away this offseason, and the Colts did not add a major replacement in free agency or the draft, leaving Warren, Alec Pierce, and Josh Downs as the core of the passing attack. That setup gives Warren a real chance to remain a major usage driver, especially because his rookie-season target share already outpaced the other pass catchers on the roster.

There is some risk, though, and it mostly centers on quarterback health and late-season regression. Warren averaged 11.1 half-PPR points per game over his first 10 games, then dropped to 5.6 over his last seven as Daniel Jones’ injuries and the offense’s overall decline caught up with him. Recent rankings still place Warren in the TE4 to TE6 range for 2026, which reflects both his strong role and the uncertainty tied to the Colts’ passing efficiency.

For fantasy managers, Warren looks like a strong early-round tight end who can give you a weekly edge if the Colts’ offense rebounds. He is not quite the same tier as the very top elite options, but his combination of rookie production, vacated targets, and likely volume makes him one of the best bets at the position for 2026 redraft leagues.
