Bo Nix enters the 2026 fantasy season as a pretty appealing QB2 with upside, especially in formats that reward rushing. FantasyPros currently projects him for 3,744 passing yards, 26.8 passing touchdowns, 341.2 rushing yards, and 3.6 rushing scores, which points to a useful all-around fantasy profile if he stays on script.

The biggest storyline around Nix this offseason has been his right ankle, but the latest updates are encouraging. He broke it in January, had surgery, then had a follow-up clean-up procedure in April, and by late July he had reportedly been cleared for full participation and was taking full team reps in camp.

That matters because Denver expects him to be back in his normal role and moving well. Recent reports and comments from Nix himself say he feels “normal” again, is not planning to change his scrambling style, and should be ready for the regular season without lingering limitations.

For fantasy managers, that keeps Nix in the streaming-to-low-end starter conversation with some breakout potential. If Denver’s offense continues to lean on his mobility and he builds on a projected midrange QB1 volume profile, he can outkick his draft cost; the main risk is that he still profiles more as a steady dual-threat option than an elite weekly ceiling play.
