Malik Willis enters the 2026 fantasy football season with real sleeper appeal because he’s now in Miami and is widely expected to open the year as the Dolphins’ starter. He signed a three-year, $67 million deal in March, and recent fantasy analysis points out that Miami is giving him a legitimate shot to lead the offense in Week 1.

From a fantasy standpoint, the selling point is still his rushing. In six career starts, Willis has averaged 44.8 rushing yards per game and has scored four rushing touchdowns, and his 2024-25 Green Bay sample showed strong efficiency with 78.7% completions, 10.9 yards per attempt, six passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. NBC Sports also noted that among quarterbacks with at least 100 total plays since 2024, Willis has produced 0.88 fantasy points per dropback, which is the best mark in that group.

The main concern is whether Miami’s offense will give him enough support to stay efficient all season. Fantasy Life noted that the Dolphins have lost Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, which could leave Willis working with a much thinner receiving corps and potentially drag down his passing production. Even so, Establish The Run still described him as a player whose legs make him an appealing fantasy option and said he can flirt with QB1-level weeks as long as he keeps the starting job.

For 2026 redraft leagues, Willis looks like a volatile but useful fantasy QB2 with upside to be more if the rushing volume stays high and Miami keeps him on the field. He is not a safe pick, but the combination of a starting role, designed mobility, and a favorable fantasy scoring profile makes him worth targeting as a late-round dart or streaming option.
