At running back, Josh Jacobs remains the safest Packers fantasy starter and should be drafted as a strong RB2 with RB1 upside if the workload stays intact. That said, his August groin issue is worth monitoring closely because even a minor setback could affect early-season touches and goal-line work. Behind him, the depth chart does not currently suggest a clear threat for meaningful standalone value, so Jacobs remains the only back worth aggressively targeting in standard redraft leagues.

The pass catchers are where Green Bay gets really interesting. Jayden Reed is still the most stable PPR option thanks to his slot usage and established chemistry with Love, while Christian Watson brings the best big-play upside if he stays healthy. Matthew Golden adds a fresh ceiling element as a rookie who could climb quickly if his usage grows, and Tucker Kraft is a strong tight end target after establishing himself as an important part of the offense; however, his knee/ACL status makes him one of the more important injury situations to watch before Week 1. Luke Musgrave’s neck/PUP designation also opens the door for Kraft to soak up more early-season tight end work if he is active and effective.
