Season Preview

The Rams remain one of the most fantasy-friendly offenses heading into 2026, with Matthew Stafford still supporting a strong passing game and Puka Nacua plus Davante Adams giving Los Angeles a legitimate weekly ceiling in the receiver room. Recent preseason coverage continues to peg the Rams as a high-end offense, and the current depth chart still centers the attack around Stafford, Kyren Williams, Nacua, Adams, and Tyler Higbee/Colby Parkinson at tight end.

Kyren Williams is the safest fantasy bet on the roster and profiles as a strong RB1/RB2 anchor because the Rams still appear committed to leaning on him for volume in Sean McVay’s offense. The main backfield question is how much work Blake Corum and the rest of the depth chart can siphon off, but the clearest path to fantasy value remains Williams as the lead runner and a player who can also contribute in the passing game.

At wide receiver, Puka Nacua is still the centerpiece and remains a must-start fantasy asset, while Davante Adams adds another elite target earner and red-zone threat who can still swing weeks even if age lowers the weekly floor slightly. The bigger fantasy wrinkle is depth: Mario Williams was placed on injured reserve on Aug. 19, which trims the back-end receiver competition and further concentrates opportunity around the top two options. Jordan Whittington and the remaining depth pieces are more speculative bench darts than reliable starters.

The biggest fantasy concern is quarterback health and stability, because Stafford remains the engine of the offense and any missed time would directly ding every Rams pass catcher. Tight end is more of a late-round or streaming area, with Tyler Higbee back in the mix after his January activation from injured reserve, but not quite a weekly difference-maker in a loaded target tree. Overall, this is still a team to target in drafts: Williams offers safe volume, Nacua is an elite receiver, Adams gives win-now upside, and Stafford is a useful QB2 in the right format.
